Smoked Fries

Ingredients

  • McCain French Fries 150g
  • BBQ Sauce 1 tbsp
  • Salsa Sauce 1 tbsp
  • Butter 1 tbsp
  • Refined Oil 1 tsp
  • Garlic (Chopped) 2 tsp
  • Onion (Chopped) 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Red Chilli Flakes 1/2 tsp
  • Black Pepper 1/8 tsp
  • (FreshlyCrushed) Sage 1/4 tsp
  • Grated Cheese 1/3 tsp
  • Corn Flour 1 tbsp
  • Water 1 tbsp

Cooking Method

  • Coat McCain French Fries in a slurry of corn flour and water.
  • Fry for 4 minutes at 175°C.
  • Heat oil and butter in a pan, add garlic, and saute until golden.
  • Add chopped onions and sauté until translucent.
  • Add BBQ sauce, salsa sauce, salt, red chilli flakes, and blackpepper.
  • Add fries, sage, and toss well to coat evenly.
  • Place on a plate, sprinkle grated cheese, and serve hot.
